Facilitation Services
A Retrospective is a facilitated and structured workshop performed as a team to ensure experiences are captured and lessons are actioned based on what has been learned thus far in the project. Targeted focus areas are customized prior to the workshop to ensure the facilitator guides the team through the most pressing issues as determined by management or the client. The Retrospective is also designed to be inclusive of all project disciplines and team members, representing a diverse range of expertise levels. Ultimately, Retrospectives collaboratively develop relevant actions to repeat challenges that are incorporated into projects plans while continually building on the successes the team has accomplished together.
Retrospective workshops are generally 1-2 days in length and involve representatives from each discipline at varying experience levels. They are designed to develop relevant actions quickly and let teams get back to work.
A Strategy Planning workshop is designed to transform your purpose, mission, or idea into reality. Through a collaboratively crafted purpose, the team navigates five essential elements that clarify how to organize effectively, think creatively to anticipate and overcome challenges, and turn ideas into deliverable actions.
Strategy Planning workshops employ various facilitation techniques tailored to your needs. The duration of these workshops varies based on the complexity of the challenge statement. They can be divided into short 2-3 hour sessions to address each of the five elements, allowing participants time to reflect on the concepts discussed. This iterative approach helps build a business plan that translates your strategy into actionable steps for your employees. Typically, decision makers, stakeholders, and senior staff participate to efficiently address issues and challenges using their prior experiences.
Rapid Impact was chosen as our name to emphasize our approach: we don't tell you how to run your business – you already excel at that. We guide our clients to quickly develop definitive actions through our workshops; but it's easy to leave and forget to track, manage, and measure these actions. Human nature often leads us back to our usual routines.
Accountability Consulting provides organizations with a valuable "second pair of eyes" on the actions developed during workshops. It offers regular check-ins to assess the effectiveness and relevance of the actions developed, ensuring the workshop's impact is sustained. These sessions are conducted hourly in small groups (2-3 people), providing an impartial and unbiased perspective to ask the right questions and cut through any excuses.
